Ataraxis takes ownership and responsibility for the risk associated with payroll services. As the employer of record (co-employer), we handle all aspects of payroll administration, including mitigating risks and maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Therefore, all tax liability is Ataraxis’s liability. State and Federal payroll taxes are reported under our employer identification number (EIN), eliminating the need for you to track, let alone pay, employer taxes for employees.
