As a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), we assume many of the employment responsibilities and legal liability of our business partners by becoming a “co-employer”. Our clients focus on all of the business decisions, including hiring, job responsibilities, reviewing job performance, and determining compensation.

Ataraxis handles the administrative side which includes Human Resources, employee benefits, verifying employment, processing paychecks, W2s and payroll taxes. We become the employer of record with the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor. This means that W2 statement are from us, paystubs have our name on them, and employment verification is taken care of by Ataraxis.
